I don’t take pleasure in the man’s death, but I also don’t feel a great deal of pity for him.

I am, however, slightly perturbed that he was being egged on by Science Channel. A network that claims to support scientific endeavors was effectively backing this ma n’s misguided and clearly safety-devoid efforts to prove that science is somehow wrong and that gravity does not exist . All for what? Entertainment?

I watched a documentary on Netflix about him. He launched his rocket a couple of times. The amount of backyard engineering that went into that rocket was astounding.
